• All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalgiri is located between the districts of Guntur and Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. It was approved as one of the AIIMS by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in 2018.
• AIIMS is a group of autonomous public universities. As of 2023, there is a total of 20 AIIMS established under the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Act, 1956.

AIIMS, Mangalgiri is established with three paramount objectives:

1. Diversified education of health professionals,
