• The governing body is the Government of West Bengal's Directorate of Medical Education. After receiving a letter of approval from the National Medical Council, usually 100 MBBS candidates will be accepted yearly through the NEET (NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST)  examination, beginning with the 2022–2023 academic year.
