About College
- President Ferdinand Macros laid the foundation of the Cagayan State University in Tuguegarao City on June 11, 1978, by signing it under the law as Presidential Decree No. 1436. This decision comprised the merger of many other post-existing institutions into one single legal entity. The College of Medicine and Surgery is located at the Craig campus of Cagayan State University and is currently the only government-aided medical college in the Cagayan Valley.
- Ramon Shamon R. Abraham, qualified M.D. is currently Dean of the college. This institution has been one of the leading destinations among students, even from other countries, to pursue doctorate programs in medical science due to its minimal cost of education.
