  • East West Medical College and Hospital (EWMCH), takes pride in being an elite private academic institution located in Bangladesh. Founded 22 years ago by an eminent group, it comprised chiefly of accomplished professionals from various fields related to medicine whose shared vision was to offer world-class educational opportunities within the country, since then it has quite aptly shown commitment towards succeeding with that mandate.
  • The college campus situated on Turag River's banks at Aichi Nagar, Dhaka further boasts recognition & accreditation by the Bangladesh government's Ministry for Health and family welfare as well as academic affiliation with the University Of Dhaka - a testament to their brilliance.
  • Abdul Alim Mia, a renowned humanitarian, had partnered with Kaniz Tania Sweety, the founder and director of Aichi Medical Hospital, to establish EWMCH. The current Managing Director is Ulfat Jahan Moon. Prof. Dr. Md. Zaforullah Chowdhury is the current principal of the college.

  • MBBS is the undergraduate medical course taught in medical college. The basic course structure includes studying of Biochemistry, Physiology, Anatomy, Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic medicine and Pharmacology.
  • The MBBS undergraduate course runs for 5.5 years with a mandatory Internship training with the affiliated hospitals for the college.
