About College

  • In 2016, the Gayatri Vidya Parishad Institute of Health Care & Medical Technology opened its doors to Marikavalasa, Andhra Pradesh. 20 kilometers separate from the college from Vizag city. A passionate group of learned academicians and businesspeople founded and founded Gayatri Vidya Parishad Medical College (GVP), a pioneering educational society, on September 28, 1988, to advance higher education.
  • Founded by Professor B. Sarveswara Rao, the Gayatri Vidya Parishad Institute of Health Care and Medical Technology, Visakhapatnam, is under the control of the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The present Dean of the college is Prof. Dr. N. Subba Rao, MS.

Campus:

  • There are two buildings for the medical college and two for the hospital on the 28-acre complex.
  • The Dean's office, Pre-Clinical and Para-Clinical Departments of Anatomy, Pharmacology, Pathology, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine, and Community Medicine are currently housed in the college block. The college has two lecture halls with a combined seating capacity of 180.
  • Two hundred fifty people can fit in the examination room with mobile jammers and CCTV.

Labs: 

  • Students can use the institution's laboratories to put their knowledge into practice and gain experience. 
  • These laboratories are well-furnished with the most recent equipment and technology.

Library: 

  • The library at GVPCE Visakhapatnam is an excellent venue for book enthusiasts and provides students with various texts and reference books.
