• GMERS Medical College and Hospital, Dharpur-Patan, was established as a medical college in 2012 in Patan. It was founded by the Gujarat Medical Education and Research Society (GMERS) and the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Gujarat. Dr. Hardik Shah is the current dean of the college.
