• The Government of Uttar Pradesh established in 2016 at Banda the Government Allopathic Medical College to address the ever-increasing demand for healthcare providers who are well-versed in the latest knowledge and techniques. To achieve this goal, academic members with strong backgrounds in many disciplines of medicine from around the nation were recruited for technical guidance, teaching, and research. It is the UP Government's sincere intention to carry out its commitment to enhanced healthcare solutions and the country via this Institution.
• The Government Allopathic Medical College is now renamed as the Rani Durgavati Medical College. The current dean of the college is Dr. Suneel Kumar Kaushal. RDMS or the Rani Durgavati Medical College has been equipped with cutting-edge R&D facilities, scientific equipment, and teaching aids. There are hostel facilities available for students as well as faculty staff housing. The college offers 5 full-time courses with 113 seats available for grabs.
