• Jiangsu University is a Chinese university founded in 1902. It is located in Zhenjiang, a historic and beautiful city on the bank of the Yangtze River.
• It has more than 40,000 students including 2,300 international students. It has 27 schools and colleges providing education in 12 fields among which one is Medicine. 
• A key comprehensive university called Jiangsu University was formed in August 2001 via a merger of three universities - Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, Zhenjiang Medical College, and Zhejiang Normal College.
• The school has teaching and scientific equipment worth 1.38 billion Yuans. It has a collection of 3.3 million books in its huge library along with 116 subscription databases.
