About College

  • The Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church established the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical Mission (MOSC Medical Mission) in Kolenchery. The main aim of this establishment was to help the sick and poor in need. With a balanced perspective on the active role of health care delivery and promotion among the poor in central Kerala from the start, the Teaching Hospital of MOSC Medical Mission Hospital was established in 1970.
  • The enormous and widespread Medical College complex is roughly 26 kilometers east of the center of the Ernakulam District Headquarters and spans a vast area of 35 acres (140,000 m2). The college is located about 30 kilometers from Cochin International Airport and 16 kilometers east of Tripunithura Railway Station. The institution's founders are the Late Mr. Chacko Pillai (Founder Secretary) and Dr. K.C. Mammen (Founder Director).

Infrastructure

Hostel: Boys' and girls' accommodations are provided in the hostel. The hostel has 100 rooms that are available. Hot water is available constantly, and the apartments are completely furnished.

Hospital: The private, semi-private, and unitary wards of super specialty departments are where the remaining beds are located.

Library: The College's main library is stocked to the brim with current versions of textbooks and reference works.
