It has been a great experience for me to study at Mysore Medical College and Research Institute. As an MBBS student, I was continually astounded by the depth of faculty knowledge. They were easy to talk to and concerned about how we were doing in school. The institution has state-of-the-art medical facilities and labs, so students can get a great practical education there.

Experiences I experienced while studying at Mysore Medical College and Research Institute were varied. The thorough coursework covered all the bases, making me well-equipped to enter the medical profession. At times, though, the volume of work was so great that it made it difficult to maintain a healthy work-life balance. A few great professors helped us grasp some tough medical ideas. However, there were a few instructors whose lack of experience in teaching made it more challenging for their students to understand the material. The university campus is adequate, providing students with the essentials. There were, however, instances when upgrades to the infrastructure were required, such as when certain labs had antiquated machinery. Accessing a broader selection of medical literature would have been helpful, but the library's resources were inadequate.

Without reservation, my time at Mysore Medical College and Research Institute was formative. The institution is proud of its hardworking professors that always go above and beyond to provide their students with an excellent education. The teachers are well-informed, kind, and open to student questions and ideas outside class.
