About college

• NRI Academy of medical sciences is a first-of-its-kind medical college started by a consortium of 32 NRI doctors from the USA who were all born and brought up in the districts of Guntur Andhra Pradesh. The medical college is situated in the municipal corporation of Chinna Kakani.
• The medical college commenced its first academic session in the year 2003-04 with the approval of the Ministry of Health and Family.  
• Dr. N Lakshmi is currently serving as the principal of NRI medical college working towards furthering the objectives of the institution and developing academic and administrative facilities.

Campus

• NRI Guntur medical college and Hospital is built in an area of 12,00,000 sq. ft., comprising 8 buildings, which is spread over 26 acres. 

• The campus is well equipped with all the necessary amenities to create a conducive environment for its students to study.
