About College

  • Orenburg State Medical Academy (OSMA), formerly known as Medical Institute named after Chkalov, was established in 1944 in Russia. It started as an institute offering MBBS degree in general medicine. Lazarenko F.M, Olifson L.E Silantyev A.K. and Fetisov N.V founded the institute. Mironchen Anton is the current dean of the college. 
  • Today, Orenburg State Medical Academy has 8 departments and over 555 faculty members, including 93 doctors of medicine and 298 associate doctors. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate programs in various medical specialties. It graduates about 500 medical professionals every year.

  • The academy has a well-developed infrastructure, including hostels, canteens, libraries, and research centers. It has affiliations with 18 hospitals providing opportunities for practical clinical training to students. The faculty includes experienced professors, associate professors, and doctors. The academy has received recognition from WHO, ECFMG, and FAIMER for its MBBS program.
