About College

  • Spread across a colossal ground of more than 55 acres, The Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences is located in the heart of the city of Jalandhar. The college was established in 1999 and was considered to be the first medical college cum teaching hospital in the Doaba region. It was gestated as a Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode by the Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences Society.
  • Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences Medical and Education Charitable Society, Department of Medical Education & Research, and the Government of Punjab. Affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, this medical school is considered to be a tertiary care teaching hospital. 
  • Currently, this college is doing remarkably well under the administration of Resident Director Mr. Amit Singh and Director Principal Dr. Rajiv Arora, whose immaculate medical experience spans over 30 years.
