• Shri Sathya Sai Medical College and Research Institute was established in 2008 by Shri. M. K. Rajagopalan, the founder and chancellor of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth.
• The college is located at Ammapettai, on Tiruporur Guduvancherry Main Road, 45 km from Chennai Central Railway Station and 28 km from the Chennai International Airport. The college is accredited by NAAC with an ‘A++’ grade and approved by the National Medical Commission, New Delhi, and Govt. of Tamilnadu.
• The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various streams of medicine and health sciences, such as MBBS, MD, MS, M.Sc., B.Sc., B.Pharm, etc. The college has a spacious campus with all the modern learning facilities. The college has a well-equipped 360-bedded hospital with various departments, operation theatres, intensive care units, a blood bank, a pharmacy, and diagnostic services.
