• Srinivas Institute of Medical Research Centre, located in Srinivasnagar, Mangalore is the part of Srinivas Group of Colleges which was founded in the year 2011. Srinivas Group is the dream of the ideal teacher, Adka Shama Rao and his spouse, Shrimathi Indiramma who believed education is a tool to transform society. This dream is made into reality by the son of A. Shama Rao, Shri. CA. A Ragavendra Rao, the Chairman of Srinivas Group, established in the year 1988. 

• Also popularly known as SIMRC, Srinivas Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Srinivasnagar is one of the admired medical colleges and research centers in Karnataka. The institute focuses on providing quality medical education including extensive medical programs, undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) medical programs, and other doctorate programs which deliver qualified doctors every year. With an annual intake of 150 medical students.
