Medical Education Unit: In 2006, the Medical Education Unit (MEU) was founded. Through its core members who have received training in Advance Course Medical Education (ACME), the MEU aims to instruct the medical faculty on medical education technologies. Through the Curriculum Implementation Committee, the MEU guarantees ongoing enhancements to the planning, execution, and assessment of the teaching and learning process in accordance with the new Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) in Undergraduates and Postgraduates curriculum of the National Medical Council of India. The medical college has successfully implemented foundation courses, early clinical exposure, family adoption programs, problem-based and case-based learning during bedside teaching and through simulation centers, electives, and vertical and horizontal integrated teaching. Hostel: The SRM Medical College's APJ. ABDUL KALAM Hostel offers contemporary, well-equipped lodging for students. The hostel is a fifteen-story building with 262 furnished rooms that are all equipped with modern conveniences.
