About College

  • The University of Perpetual Help System Dalta JONELTA Foundation School of Medicine has a rich and inspiring history that originated in 1996 when it first started as an extension campus of the Perpetual Help School of Laguna and Allied Health Sciences.
  • Dr. Aretas P. Singson-Alday was appointed as the founding dean and the school was initially renowned as the Perpetual Help College of Medicine-Rizal (Extension School).
  • In 1997, the school underwent a momentous transformation when the Commission on Higher Education granted it autonomous status through Resolution No. R95-57, series of 1997. This milestone was achieved thanks to the tireless efforts of Dr./BGen. Antonio L. Tamayo.
  • As a result, the school was renamed the University of Perpetual Help Rizal College of Medicine and gained autonomous status on November 7, 1997, becoming the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta JONELTA Foundation School of Medicine.

  • Today, the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta JONELTA Foundation School of Medicine is a globally recognized institution, attracting students from all over the world. Scholarship

The university offers scholarships to new and transfer students who have graduated with academic honors from any bachelor's degree.

To qualify for the scholarship, the applicants must have:

  • Passed the National Medical Admission Test (NMAT) with a score of at least 50%
  • Undergone a successful Dean's interview

Applicants must also fulfill admission requirements, including:

  • A Bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a recognized school
  • NMAT score of at least 50 percentile
  • A complete transcript of records with GWA
  • Certificate of good moral character
  • Medical and physical examination, among others

Students with an NMAT score below the 50 percentile will be given conditional admission, and those who fail any subject at any year level will be automatically dismissed.
