About College

  • Before establishing the Health Science Centre (HSC) at Xi'an Jiaotong University, the Public Peking Medical School was established on October 26, 1912. It was then renamed Peking University Medical School in November 1928 and took on the goals of studying advanced knowledge and nurturing specialized medical abilities as the first national school of Western medicine. 
  • Xian Jiaotong University is a non-profit public higher education school in the urban environment of the sizable city of Xian (with a population range of 1,000,000 – 5,000,000 inhabitants), Shaanxi. Professor Shemin Lu is the current dean who looks after the discipline and administrative work. 
  • Xian Jiaotong is a national strategic university governed by the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor was established in Shanghai in 1896 and divided into Xian Jiaotong universities and Shanghai Jiao Tong in 1956.
