The college has a computer lab where students learn information technology. It also has a nutritional laboratory that teaches normal nutrition and therapeutic dietetics. The college also has a well-equipped nursing arts lab with simulation manikins and equipment to encourage learning of the art and science of nursing.
The college provides clinical training to students in various departments of the affiliated hospitals. The AFMC offers undergraduate courses in Medicine and postgraduate courses in specialties such as Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Psychiatry.
