About College

  • The first private medical college in Kerala with 150 seats was founded in 2010 and is named Malabar Medical College Hospital & Research Centre. The institution has been elevated to the status of a 200-seat private medical college after ten years of dedicated and unwavering commitment to developing the best possible medical professionals and producing numerous top rankings for MBBS examinations. For the purpose of facilitating the additional admission beginning with the academic year 2022–2023, the relevant licenses from the Government of Kerala, the National Medical Commission, and the Kerala University of Health Sciences have all been secured.
  • Since 2013, the medical college has offered postgraduate courses (DNB) in general medicine and general surgery. After discontinuing DNB programs, MD/MS programs will begin in a variety of specializations in 2021. There are now 54 postgraduate places available across 18 distinct specializations.
  • The Government Medical College in Kozhikode, which is regarded as one of the top medical schools with a small number of exceptionally talented doctors, is well known for producing some of the best doctors in the nation. Malabar Medical College, also known as MMC, is also thought of as an annex of Government Medical College.
